Def Jam Icon

While the Def Jam games from Electronic Arts are, ultimately, fighting games, Icon stands out for its unique stylized look and feel. Created for the PS3 and X360, Icon is set in the world of Def Jam's hip-hop artists: you take on the persona of a tough rumbler who ends up in the employ of a renowned producer. As you move up the ranks, you do things like chase paparazzi away from Ludacris and protect the Game from dangerous rivals. But when you get down and dirty with the fighting, which is what this video game is all about, you'll find that your character isn't as quick and responsive as you've come to expect from playing other fighting games. Even if you've owned in other brawlers, you'll have to learn how to fight again, and you'll have to learn how to scratch and manipulate music playback to increase the power of your attacks. And because this is Def Jam, the soundtrack you'll be fighting to kicks it pretty good. Rated mature.
