The Georgia Straight, Canada's leading alternative weekly has an opening for a self starting, motivated project based marketing professional to join our Retail Advertising Sales Department.

You will be responsible for initiating, collaborating on and enacting a variety of special projects designed to increase ad sale revenues for the department. Prospecting, cold calling, and establishing new accounts within specific niche businesses throughout the lower mainland.

You will be part of a dynamic, self motivated sales team and our expectations are high. You are not afraid of hard work, have a proven sales track record in a deadline-oriented business and thrive on the fast pace.
