The duo play lifelong friends whose lives become increasingly complicated when business is mixed with love. What the movie lacks in substance, it makes up for with its music.

Indie Sex
A miniseries that explores how sex has been depicted in cinema, with an emphasis on independent films. Award-winning filmmakers Lisa Ades and Lesli Klainberg tell the story in three parts: Censored, Teens, and Extremes. A great excuse to enjoy soft-core smut under the guise of education.

Resident Evil: Extinction
The third and final installment in the Resident Evil action-horror trilogy. Alice (Milla Jovovich) joins up with a caravan of apocalypse survivors travelling across the U.S. to take on the Umbrella Corp. one last time.

The Tudors: Season 1
Showtime’s runaway hit drama set during the reign of England’s King Henry VIII. The first season covers events leading up to England’s break with the Catholic Church. The Tudors is similar to HBO’s Rome: it can be enjoyed by a wide audience, from history buffs to action junkies to soap-opera addicts.

Shoot ’Em Up
You get what you expect from a movie that titles itself after the genre it shamelessly takes to an extreme. Clive Owen (Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Children of Men) plays a renegade protecting a pregnant woman. It’s a guilty pleasure for the Chuck Norris crowd.
