30 Days of Night
A small town in Alaska is engulfed by terror when a gang of vampires finds that a month of darkness in the Far North works to their advantage. It won’t reinvent the genre, but 30 Days of Night is chilling and will leave you casting glances over your shoulder.

Beowulf
A heroic warrior is pitted against terrible monsters in a visually stunning film that heavily employs CGI. Anthony Hopkins, Angelina Jolie, and John Malkovich star in this modern-day retelling of a timeless poem set in Scandinavia.

The Darjeeling Limited
Owen Wilson stars alongside Adrien Brody (The Pianist, King Kong) and Jason Schwartzman (Marie Antoinette); the three play brothers on a journey to rediscover the innocent bonds of their childhood. This subtle comedy is directed by Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums), who delivers another funny, touching film.

Death at a Funeral
A dysfunctional British family is forced to bring the skeletons out of its closet when one of the members dies. Nothing less than an absolute farce, this Frank Oz film is filled with zany characters and overlapping story lines that make for a very humorous movie. Extras include a lengthy but entertaining gag reel.

Life After Tomorrow
An award-winning documentary that assembles more than 40 of the women who played orphans in Annie, one of the most successful Broadway shows of all time. The highs and lows (and absurdities) of childhood stardom are discussed in this peek behind the curtain of theatre history.
