Abercrombie & Fitch release $200 "catalogue porn"

The catalogues of American clothing line Abercrombie & Fitch are famous for portraying young models, often nude, in highly provocative, questionable, or suggestive poses. Many of them have had sexual or homoerotic overtones.

Some of the images didn't even include clothing.

The company stopped producing its infamous catalogue in 2003 due to accusations of obscenity.

The company, however, has revived the catalogue by moving it upmarket. According to Fashion Watch, the latest edition is now going for a whopping $200 and features images so racy it's being called "catalogue porn".

In 2007, improv collective Improv Everywhere organized a cheeky response to the company's ads by invading a New York City store with hordes of men who all removed their shirts.
