The three fiery brothers—the sun, Mars, and Jupiter—are in hot contention. They are squared off, indicating that the gloves will be off and the issues and concerns we have personally and collectively will come to a boil.

Let’s break it down. The sun moves through Aries, his sign of exaltation, bringing the spirit of action and growth. We will be in the full swing of things as we enthusiastically meet the times. Mars, lord of the Aries new moon on April 5, is moving through Cancer. He doesn’t operate well in this sensitive water sign. We will be crabby, or have to contend with those who are.

Jupiter, the third fiery brother, is moving through Capricorn, and he isn’t comfortable in this sign either. Capricorn’s stodgy, stiff, tight way of doing things is boring for the generous and gregarious King of the Gods, Jupiter. Now they are in a stare-down as they confer on how to get things done on good old planet Earth.

Pick your issue: the homelessness problem that won’t go away, the weak laws that invite all kinds of problems in our beautiful society, the safety of our elders and children, or just how things are done or run. It’s all going to happen, and we will be leaning into whatever it takes to get it right.

Mercury enters Aries on April 2, followed by Venus on April 5, livening up all of life’s activities. Spring is upon us, and we can leave the bickering to those who karmically must deal with it. Climbing mountains, skiing, and other things related to healthy and happy lifestyles will be on our minds.
