How enthralling is Global News's recent ongoing Newshour series, "B.C. Premiers - Where Are They Now?" Given the shameful parade of near criminal crackpots we've had over the decades, who thought we wanted to know?
And why give them a neat little platform to plug their latest pocket-liners? There have to be more interesting people somewhere in this province who've actually contributed something to society besides scandal and incompetence.
Maybe it's just me, but I can't even begin to imagine what demographic they're aiming for here. I know most B.C.'ers have terrible memories, but around some family members or friends I can't even utter the words Vander Zalm or Bennett without having 911 ready on speed dial.
Let this crummy collection of clowns ride off into the sunset where we - not they - deserve to let them fade away into their comfortable dotage and never be heard from again.

To tar all elected officials as crooks and hoodlums, as you do, is unfair and irresponsible. Likewise, politics and public affairs is not the Manichean world you portray it to be, with the forces of darkness (politicians) arrayed against the forces of light ("the people"). Anyway, who do you think elects and re-elects these putative princes of darkness?
And who do I think elected them? Certainly not your "forces of light." I'd be more inclined to call them "forces of lite."
You are a fool. I did not like some of these people particularly the two you list but they laid it on the line.
If you think being a "politico" is so great get off your fat butt and get into it.
You would rapidly find that politics is the toughest "buisiness" you can get into.
