After eight days of filmmaking madness that began on April 17, the final eight films from the Crazy8s filmmaking challenge will be shown at 7 p.m. on Saturday (April 26) at the Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts (777 Homer Street).

“Where the Crazy8s really stands out is the quality of the films that come out of this just because of the sponsorship support,” Crazy8s producer Kevin Pavlovic said by phone. “They are made with professional equipment and professional crews…so the quality and the calibre of films definitely goes up on-screen.”

Allison Mack of Smallville will host the event. Tickets are available for $15 at Biz Books (302 West Cordova Street), $20 on-line at www.crazy8s.cc/, or $25 at the door. An after-party will be held at Players Chophouse Restaurant & Lounge (808 Beatty Street).
