Sometimes you need to ask: what would Mao do?
I read the article “Beijing gets nowhere demonizing Dalai Lama” [April 10-17] by Frank Ching and especially noted: “While he [the Dalai Lama] is still alive, there is a window of opportunity that China should grasp.”
I believe Ching is right, and here is a window of opportunity that China should grasp. The solution is simple: have the Dalai Lama invite God to attend the Olympics there and prove “its” existence. If it does or doesn’t arrive, we will know for sure and stop glorifying an invisible friend. There couldn’t possibly be another appointment more important that would cause God to boycott the Summer Olympics!
