Candy corner: New and limited edition flavours

Hey kidz, wet's check out some of the weawy yummy fwavours that are on the shelves these days.

Orange Creme Hershey's Kisses: White chocolate Hershey kisses with orange stripes. If you've been a faithful reader of this blog, you probably know I like orange flavoured things. This one taste and smells like a creamsicle.

It's delish, though I think I'd like it even more if it were dark milk chocolate. Thumbs down on the transfat content (but it's only 0.2 grams).

Mint Crisps M&Ms: Okay, I have officially found my personal candy equivalent of crack.

I pretty much gobbled up the whole bag in one sitting and lost all self-control. I had to restrain myself (by strapping myself into bed) from going out to buy some more.

They are white, pastel green, and dark green M&Ms flavoured with mint chocolate and have a crispy texture (kinda like a hard version of Aero).

I love mint chocolates, and the crispy texture is addictive.

They are evil. Evil, evil, evil. And expensive: for a 200 g bag (which had a lot of air in it, but it's the size that's larger than the one shown in the picture above), it cost $4.19. Evil, evil, evil. EVIL!

Maynards Milkies: Have you ever tried Maynards Swedish Berries? They're quite good. So based on that, I thought I'd try out these milkshake-themed soft candies that come in the form of little milkshake that are colored white (vanilla), yellow (banana), light pink (strawberry), and purple (wildberry). It says it's made with real milk.

The ingredients list both skim and condensed milk. I'm not a fan of banana flavours in foods (even though I like eating real bananas) but this one is okay. It's hard to tell the pink from the purple ones.

Overall though, they're nothing really special. I prefer the Swedish Berries.

So unfortunately, these milkies won't bring all the boys in the yard.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Hazelnut (limited edition): Tastes like it sounds like: a peanut butter cup laced with a hazelnut flavour. It's good though nothing particularly memorable. Next!
