Rev. Jeremiah Wright gives thought-provoking speech to NAACP

Barack Obama's pastor has shown a different side than the angry caricature that has been replayed endlessly on YouTube and on TV newscasts.
In a speech to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Reverend Jeremiah Wright came across as compassionate, highly intelligent, and more than anything else, thought provoking.
CNN broadcasted the speech live. Immediately after its conclusion, the network cancelled its regular programming and hosted a national discussion on what the reverend said.
