BC Lions gobble up big Justin Sorenson in college draft

The BC Lions used their first selection (fifth overall) in Wednesday morning's Canadian Football League college draft to take big offensive lineman Justin Sorenson.
The 6-7 309-pounder hails from Parksville on Vancouver Island, and is currently a junior at the University of South Carolina. He was considered by many the best offensive line prospect in this draft, but the fact he'll likely garner strong interest from National Football League teams may have been why he was still available when the Lions picked fifth.
