Stevie Wonder coming to Vancouver
By Paul Graham
On July 12, the legendary Stevie Wonder will perform at G.M. Place.
Over the long course of his award-winning career, the prolific singer/songwriter has made 35 albums, scored more than 30 top-10 hits, and won 22 Grammys. Wonder has also made a valued contribution to social and political change, including championing the effort to make Martin Luther King's birthday a national holiday in the U.S.
That activism will continue tonight in Indianapolis, when he will take the stage at a rally for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Tix go on sale this Friday (May 9), at 10 am from Ticketmaster, ranging from $49 to $119.
