There are a number of stores in the West End that specifically cater to ethnic food supplies, like Euro Food Plus on Bidwell, European Delicatessen on Davie, or Izumi-Ya on Denman.
There are a few other stores necessarily advertise themselves (by their names) that they have multicultural food products.
West Valley Produce (on Bute just off Davie) has stepped up its variety of ethnic foods in recent years. For West End residents, it's certainly an alternative to having to go all the way to T&T down at the edge of Chinatown.
They have a range of Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean sauces and curries. They also have naan, Indian Life snacks like chevdo, rice crackers, noodles, and rice. You can also find Mexican and Latin American food products.
At Homa Market (1648 Robson), you can find a little bit of food from almost every corner of the world. There are German cookies, Swedish museli, a line of sauces and stews called Something South African, Middle Eastern sweets, and more. They seem to be going through a series of improvements.
Then there's the convenience store on Davie called Tutti (1126 Davie), near Stepho's. It used to be cluttered with lots of knick-knacks and trinkets. But they've cleared all that out and replaced it with Middle Eastern food products like Turkish Delight, cookies, jams, and more. I bought some Halawa Chocolate—very tasty.
