Why: Daisy Dukes are a summer fashion staple that have truly stood the test of time. Originally born of necessity and created by cutting the legs off worn-out jeans, cutoffs have since morphed into a fashion must-have for hipsters and hippies alike. (Kate Moss, Lindsay Lohan, and the Olsen twins have all been snapped wearing them.) These short-shorts by Billabong are grey and have cute detailing around the pockets, which dresses them up a bit. There’s nothing hotter than catching rays in a bikini and a pair of jean shorts, but remember even shorts that are rough around the edges look best with well-groomed legs (shaved, sculpted, and sun-kissed).
