Male eye candy alert: Rahul Bose in Before the Rains

You may not expect it, but there's some pleasing male eye candy in the upcoming Merchant-Ivory movie Before the Rains.

The Indian assistant of a British plantation owner is played by actor Rahul Bose.

(The plantation owner is played by Linus Roache, who is also nice looking. But Roache doesn't flash as much skin as Bose.)

Bose has been a rugby player, and his fine physique shows it.

He spends many a scene running around shirtless in this film (or wearing a tank top).

His look somewhat reminds me of Bollywood dreamboat Akshaye Khanna.

According to his profile on IMDb, he has primarily acted in Indian productions. Perhaps though that may change after this film exposes him (literally) to a wider international audience.

The film opens next Friday (July 11) in Vancouver.
