After last week's Glastonbury shenanigans, during which Jay-Z responded to a Noel Gallagher diss with one of his own, the rapper and the Oasis guitarist are making conciliatory gestures.

In an interview with BBC Newsbeat yesterday, Gallagher stated "For the record, I Iike Jay-Z."

For his part, Jay-Z told MTV Base that he'd be open to collaborating with Oasis: "I don't bear any grudge, it's all good. I just believe in good music and bad music, I've always said that. You look at any interview from the beginning of time, I've always stated that I don't believe in the lines and classifications that people put music in so they can easily define it."
