Toronto International Film Festival taps West Coast content

Yesterday, the Toronto International Film Festival announced its Canadian programming for its 33rd edition that will run September 4 to 13.

Of the 64 films selected (chosen from 764 submissions), four are from B.C.:
”¢ Neil Burns’s stop-animation feature Edison & Leo;
”¢ Cameron Labine’s comedy Control Alt Delete, about a man's sexual relationship with his computer;
”¢ Terry Miles’s When Life Was Good;
”¢ Carl Bessai’s Mothers and Daughters.

Fifty Dead Men Walking is a U.K.–Canada coproduction with Vancouver's Brightlight Pictures as coproducers.
