Ron Yamauchi stars in The Odd Couple

You may be familiar with Ron Yamauchi as one of the Straight's movie reviewers. But did you know that he's taking to stage tonight as one of the leads in Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre's The Odd Couple?

When he told me about it a few weeks ago, I was quite surprised.

But he, as many a devoted Straight blog reader will know, is a man of many talents. He's entered novel writing contests and performs in a band composed of movie reviewers called Twisted Siskel (along with Ken Eisner).

The Odd Couple, directed by Raugi Yu plays until July 27 at Richmond Cultural Centre (7700 Minoru Gate).
