Protest the Westboro Baptist Church in Vancouver with humour?

The notorious American Westboro Baptist Church is scheduled to protest The Laramie Project in Vancouver today, if they can make it past the border.

The last protest was blocked by orders from then–public safety minister Stockwell Day. Vancouver East NDP Libby Davies is calling on current safety minister Peter Van Loan to do the same.

Meanwhile, a counter-protest is planning to go ahead with their message of peace and acceptance, regardless of whether or not the Westboro protest takes place.

Others have been pointing out that the WBC thrives on the attention they receive. Instead, some have suggested to infiltrate their ranks and carry nonsensical signs, such as "God hates algebra" and "God hates bundles of wood".

There is even a Web site for a satirical church called the Eastboro Baptist Church which flaunts the slogan "God hates everyone except for us".

Another counter-protest is being organized by Pastafarians, who believe that pirates are the ideal beings. The group is requesting that all supporters show up in pirate regalia.

If you have any suggestions of signs to carry or strategies on dealing with the WBC, post them  below.
