The Simpsons takes jabs at Apple with spoof

Last night (November 30), The Simpsons took a ton of jabs at Apple.

In the episode, various products from “Mapple”, such as the “MyPhone” and the “”˜MyPod”, are shown to be ridiculously overpriced, overhyped, and absurd.

Nothing escapes the show’s ruthless mockery.

I’m sure most Mac addicts can find the humour in:

Mapple employee: “Sir, it’s not even turned on yet.”
Homer: “But it’s glowing.”
Mapple employee: “That light confirms that it’s off.”

Or:

Lisa: “I can’t afford any of your products, but can I buy some fake white earbuds so that people will think I have a MyPod?”
Mapple employee: “Sure, those are called MyPhonies. Oh, and they cost $40.”

There’s also some good bits featuring Mapple founder “Steve Mobs”.
