The retrospective exhibit marking the Diane Farris Gallery’s quarter-century in the business highlights the major names the spot has brought to the fore. The list of artists in the show reads like a who’s who of the scene: Alan Wood, Angela Grossmann, Attila Richard Lukacs, Vicky Marshall, and Graham Gilmore are just some of the greats with pieces on view. But, as always, Farris never misses a chance to shine a spotlight on the new, and Wil Murray joins emerging artists like Jesse Garbe and Nick Lepard amid the bigger stars. In other words, it should be quite a party when Celebrating 25! opens tonight (December 4).
