Tiger Beer

Crisp, fresh, bright, and cold: what else can you ask from a beer?

Yes, even when it’s crisp, fresh, bright, and cold outside, a tot of Tiger will add a sparkle to the day’s activities; two tots, two sparkles, and so progressively on till the cutoff point is attained”¦ Tiger is Singapore’s leading brew, and it’s very much a gulper—none of your contemplative sipping this time, just toss it back and go ahhh. Perfect for all that hot weather we’ve been having lately! It’s a lovely mouthful, especially when your palate gets fatigued after the vinous excesses of the holiday season. Happy 2009; you’ll look back on it fondly once the Olympic circus starts in earnest around this time next year. Tiger Beer in a six-pack of 330-millilitre bottles costs $11.95.

It's winter -- time for winter warmers. Why drink a generic lager from the other side of the Pacific when it's snowing out? If you're going to drink a lager, drink a Bock, Doppelbock, or Eisbock. Otherwise, it's the barley wine, Scotch ale, strong ales, and imperial stouts. Why? Because you won't be drinking them in the summer.
