Timbaland sued over Nelly Furtado track
Timbaland is being sued over a song he produced for Nelly Furtado's 2006 album Loose . Kernel Records claims that the Timbo-produced "Do It" borrows heavily from "Acidjazzed Evening", a 2000 composition by Finnish musician Janne Sunni.
This story has been kicking around for a couple of years (click here for proof), but it's just now coming to the courts, with Kernel charging all defendants with copyright infringement and requesting an injunction prohibiting the further release, reprinting, performance and sale of "Do It".
