The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus trailer released

The trailer for Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus was released online today.

The film stars Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, Jude Law, Christopher Plummer, singer Tom Waits, Lily Cole, Andrew Garfield, and the late Heath Ledger.

This film, which was partly shot here in Vancouver, was Ledger's last feature; he passed away one-third of the way through production which subsequently halted the films progression. He had completed the first shoot in London, England, and was on his way to the Vancouver shoot when he died.

Ledger won a best supporting actor Oscar award posthumously for his role in The Dark Knight this past year.

His role was recast with Hollywood A-listers  Depp,  Law, and  Farrell all portraying parts of Heath's character Tony as he travels through a dream world.

The film is set for October 16th release.
