Live Nation announced today that American pop-rock singer-songwriter and guitar hero John Mayer will play GM Place on April 1, 2010.

The seven-time Grammy winner, who has sold more than 12 million albums worldwide, will be touring to promote his new CD, Battle Studies, which will be released on November 17.

Tickets for the show, which features opening act Michael Franti & Spearhead, are expected to go on sale to the general public on November 21 at www.livenation.com/.
