The poster for the VO's production of Norma was designed by Cuban-born New Jersey-based artist Edel Rodriguez.

Vancouver Opera is launching a new program aimed at getting the under-30 set out to its performances. Called "Get O.U.T." (Get Opera Under Thirty), it allows patrons between the ages of 18 and 29 to purchase $25 tickets for selected seats during the VO's 50th anniversary season.

The offer is the first of its kind for a major Vancouver-based arts group and is not limited to students. Tickets are limited for each performance and purchasers must quote a specific promotional code, which will be announced through VO's Facebook and Twitter accounts as well as on the VO's blog. Limited to two per customer, tickets will be available for pickup at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre the day of the performance and buyers must show proof of age when picking them up.
