RCMP identifies six people who died in plane crash off Saturna Island
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have identified the six people who lost their lives yesterday (November 29) in a plane crash off Saturna Island.
According to a press release issued this afternoon (November 30) by the RCMP, the victims are:
Ӣ Richard Bruce Haskett, 49, of Huntington Beach, California (U.S. citizen)
Ӣ Cindy Shafer, 44, of Huntington Beach, California (Canadian citizen)
Ӣ Kerry Margaret Morrissey, 41, of Vancouver (Canadian citizen)
Ӣ Sarah Grace Morrissey, 6 months, of Vancouver (Canadian citizen)
Ӣ Catherine White-Holman, 55, of Vancouver (Canadian citizen)
Ӣ Thomas Gordon Glenn, 60, of White Rock (Canadian citizen)
Two people, whose identities have not been released, survived the crash of the Seair Seaplanes float plane.
Saturna Island is the easternmost of Canada's Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia.
