Hey, why does Mayor Gregor Robertson get a colourful background, unlike the rest of council?

Mayor Gregor Robertson's green background makes him stand out from the rest of council on the city Web site.

I never know what I might stumble across whenever I start trolling through the City of Vancouver Web site.

Today, I noticed that a green background has been added behind the picture of Mayor Gregor Robertson on the page featuring photos of council members.

All the members of council, who are paid less than half his wage, have to settle for blank white backgrounds.

Well, just to take a stab at this... Could it have anything to do with Gregor's constant need to remind us all how green his is? Hey, it's all he's really go going for him in his corner. It's what you might call a "one-trick-pony".

Not exactly sure that the point of this article is.... but I'll agree with what Bernard W. has to say (*previous post). Gregor is a One Trick Pony. A whole lot of green talk and not much practical sense to make things work.

Must be because we have the best air quality in the world with putrid diesel buses making the air hazardous to breathe on the 99 B-Line route.
