Seventies soft-rock legends Carole King and James Taylor headed to Seattle

Back in the '70s, after a hard night of partying to the ear-bustin' sounds of Blue Oyster Cult, UFO, and Montrose, I'd use albums by soft-rockers like Carole King and James Taylor to soothe the savaged beast. King's multiplatinum Tapestry album of '71 and Taylor's 1977 Greatest Hits compilation seemed made for those type of mellow-out occasions.

Now the two Grammy-winning singer-songwriters have joined forces for their Troubadour Reunion tour, and are heading out on the road, with a stop at Seattle's Key Arena set for Sunday, May 9.
