Premier Gordon Campbell capitalizes on Olympic torch run

You have to give Premier Gordon Campbell some credit.

He's done a hell of a job linking himself to the Olympic torch run, even though it has usually been the mayor of the host city who  grabbed the lion's share of attention in past Olympic Games.

So how has Campbell done this? With a sophisticated public-relations campaign, of course. Is it any wonder that every time we pick up a newspaper or watch the television news, we see pictures of the premier with that damn flame?

I decided to post the latest news release sent out by the premier's office—complete with high-resolution images for the media to use—so that readers of this blog can gain some insight into how their tax dollars are being used.

Every time I see Campbell's photo in his news now -- I can't help but notice that he looks a little like a much older Alfred E. Newman of Mad Magazine fame.

Anyone 'welcoming' Gord Campbell is either a) retarded, aka 'mentally challenged', b) has no idea who he is c) has been paid off by him.

I'm surprised that drunk was sober enough to walk with the torch never mind run with it

BC, citizens are sooooooooooo, fed up, at the sight of Campbells face. His face will be, forever remembered as, a, lying, and deceitful face, a greedy face, a face, that has brought, our province to destruction and ruin. The face that has, taxed BC, people to death, and has flaunted it right into citizens faces. His face, could care less about, impoverished children, or his, lousy minimum wage. The face, that gave himself a 53%, wage hike, and, the face, that, forced the HST, on people with no jobs and losing their homes. Well, his face, will certainly be remembered.
