Not only are they working with the RCMP, their running a command center. To monitor the video survailance cameras, complete with the ability to randomly run our license plates. You know DHS as in the American FBI and border patrol working with the RCMP to survail Canadians inside Canada driving on our freeways in our supposedly sovereign nation--Make things even more interesting those Americans can not only watch Canadians in big brother fashion! They have been authorized to enforce laws while inside Canada.............. Tongue in cheeck and even ironic----I don't think the civil liberty level is set hi enough!

Whether you know it or not the Canadian traveller is given immigration status. There is no form or visa showing the status. There isn't even an application form. No paperwork--- save precious corporate resources.

The US has no control on their money and Canadians can buy and hold land. Easily form corporations, etcetera. The IRS can even as of 08 process Canadian withholding taxes with a Canadian social security card. Its very easy to set up a company in the U.S and conduct tons of "self employment" opportunities.

Well the same thing for Americans coming into Canada. Hence why both sides when anything "work" NAFTA related comes up. Well they tend to question you more. Its extremely easy to operate as a Canadian without documented immigration like visas and green cards. Lawyers don't want people to know how easy it is. NAFTA fees can get pretty high!
