Former U.S. vice president Dick Cheney sent to hospital
The man who some thought was really in charge of the United States government from 2000 to 2008 has been admitted to hospital.
According to CNN, former vice president Dick Cheney is suffering from chest pains.
Cheney has had four heart attacks in the past. The first occurred in 1978, which is the same year he was elected to Congress for the first time.
His second heart attack occurred in 1984. The third one in 1988 led to quadruple bypass surgery. In 2000 Cheney suffered what he called a minor heart attack, which resulted in the installation of a coronary stent.

To put Cheney's insanity into perspective, the lesson he took away from the Nixon presidency - one that he was intimately involved in - was that presidents need more power.
The damage that Cheney has done to the inner workings of the US government - to say nothing of the damage to the rest of the world - will take a generation to repair.
His politicization of agencies drove career civil servants to quit and retire in droves. That brain drain of scientists and analysts with decades of experience will not be easy to replace. Especially if the blatant politicos he appointed remain.

Would most of these appointees not have been replaced by Pres Obama?

There are some situations where I wish nature would be allowed to take its course, and modern medicine didn't exist. Alot of people will celebrate when Dick Cheney isn't able to hurt people any more. I wish him well when he confronts his maker. I hope he is wise enough to understand the errors of his ways, and start his long journey back into the fold of well intentioned humanity, who strive for peace and amity among all the nations and peoples of the earth.
