Live Nation announces Sting concert in Vancouver

Former Police-man Sting will open his North American tour with a show on June 2 at the Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts, Live Nation announced today.

He'll be performing his most celebrated songs while accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, under conductor Steven Mercurio.

Sting will also be joined by a quartet composed of longtime guitarist Dominic Miller, percussionist David Cossin, vocalist Jo Lawry, and bassist Ira Coleman.

Tickets are priced at $251, $151, and $90 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale March 8 at 10 a.m. at www.livenation.com/.
