Growing Pains star Andrew Koenig believed to be found dead in Vancouver

The Vancouver Police Department believes the body of Growing Pains star Andrew Koenig has been found in Stanley Park.

"Vancouver Police are investigating the discovery of a body found in Stanley Park around noon today," the VPD said in a statement today (February 25). "The body is believed to be that of Andrew Koenig."

Walter Koenig announces Growing Pains star Andrew Koenig "took his own life" in Vancouver.

Police said more details will be confirmed at a press conference at 5 p.m.

The Koenig family will attend the press conference in Stanley Park.

The 41-year-old actor was visiting Vancouver when he went missing.

He was last seen by friends on February 14.

Koenig played the character Richard "Boner" Stabone on the '80s TV series.
