Okay, Drake, we get it: you’re multitalented and ambitious, and not in a little way. As if it weren’t enough that your latest album, Thank Me Later, hit the number-one spot on the Billboard 200, or that your single “Best I Ever Had” was nominated for two Grammys, you also got your start on an honest-to-God TV institution, Degrassi: The Next Generation. And now you say you want to play U.S. president Barack Obama on the big screen? Well, no one can accuse you of not aiming high. Leaving aside the fact that you’re 25 years Obama’s junior, we’ve got to admit that you couldn’t do any worse than Fred Armisen. Hell, after you play the Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts on Tuesday (July 27), you’ll probably decide to run for president yourself. Why let the fact that you’re Canadian stand in your way? You haven’t so far.
