Move over, Carrie Underwood. There's a new blonde country diva in town, and her name is Gwyneth Paltrow.

Paltrow—who last tortured our ears in the 2000 karaoke film, Duets—is dusting off her singing chops yet again for the upcoming movie, Country Strong, in which she plays an alcoholic country star who has fallen from grace.

Released on July 26, the imaginatively named "Country Strong" will appear on the film's soundtrack.

We hate to admit it, but Paltrow makes a convincing country songstress. And we know she'd take Underwood in a fight. (Actually, we'd pay good money to see that. Hollywood, set that up.)
