Photos: Vancouver's official Lady Gaga afterparty at Canvas Lounge

Last night’s Lady Gaga concert saw little monsters running around all over Vancouver, and tonight’s show is sure to bring them out again.

Some lucky few were invited to the official Lady Gaga afterparty at Canvas Lounge in Gastown, and even though the Lady never showed up (at least not by 1 a.m. when this girl had to get to bed), everyone there was happy to get dressed up and play nice with the paparazzi.

Here are a few pictures from the night.

I thought from the other article that it was supposed to be the messaging about having confidence in yourself.

You mean that was just a put-on?

why are they repulsive, is it not human to do what the mind wills ?
it is folly to say it is gross , because many things in your life these people could find intolerance in

The people never seem to appreciate art and creativity until the artists die.
Lets change this and start empowering and supporting the creative minds in the city.
Perhaps all the dis-approving folks should take a trip to the cinema, go see a play, wear something other then an over starched Banana Republic dress suit and start to like their lives again.

Or maybe they are just scared that artists might be more in demand then part time secretaries in the near future...

Ummm.... Lady Gaga is not particularly creative. She's just the latest in a long line of "artists" with nothing to say playing dress up for the kids. She's no Joni Mitchell, Patti Smith, Laurie Anderson or Bjork. Those are truly creative artists.
