Devo, Said the Whale, Dirty Vegas make first-ever LIVE at Squamish festival a triumph

As the sun set on the final night of the LIVE at Squamish music festival last Sunday (August 7), there were so many fans donning Bad Religion t-shirts milling about that you had to wonder if anybody was going to stick around for the weekend’s official closer, The Decembrists.

There was absolutely nothing to worry about. While the mosh pit might have dialed down a few notches for the folk rock quintet, the crowd showed no-less spirit for the Decembrists than they did for Bad Religion.

Here’s a video from the Portland band’s set, which truly did end a successful festival’s debut with West Coast good vibrations.

The Decembrists play "The Infanta" on the final night of the LIVE at Squamish music festival.
