the North Delta community is in shock at this terrible tragedy. In recent months I've heard at least two reports of women in North Delta being attacked from behind and hit on the head with a blunt object. If it's the same perp, let's all be on the lookout for this sicko and help the police get him off the streets and into jail for the rest of his worthless life

And if it is the same perp. or even a different one, lets nail his privates to the wall. Bring back captial punishment for crimes like this. Poor little girl!

Society is getting worse. Just a few days ago a white or Asian male pointed a gun in front of Jarvis Elementary. The police took care of the situation. Now some unruly white teenagers have killed a child. Where is the demand for justice now? All the talk about East Indians and crime is racist. Where is the demand for this innocent girl. Sad!!!!

I knew Laura, and she was such a bright-spirited girl. She always had a smile on her face, and it brought sunshine to your day, even when it was raining. What happened to her was awful and she never deserved that. I hope they catch that evil evil person who would think it is okay to do this to someone, and I hope Laura Michelle Szendrei rests in paradise.

Laura was a student of mine. I cannot express how sad I feel that such a beautiful, happy, and talented girl's life was taken away so tragically. My thoughts go out to her family and friends. Her infectious smile and bubbly personality will never be forgotten.

This is sick. This event has destroyed what little faith I had in the goodness of humanity. I knew this stuff went on, I know its tragic. But I knew Laura. she is an amazingly kind person, she's funny and caring to everyone, things are different when they hit this close to home, Laura, you will never be forgotten. You are a truly amazing human being and you will be missed by everyone you've come into contact with, and many more.
