Coun. Geoff Meggs's campaign for re-election is already underway online

If you have any doubts that the municipal-election season has begun, look no further than the website of first-term Vision Vancouver councillor Geoff Meggs.

There on the left side of his homepage, below an image of Meggs’s smiling face, is a green rectangular box that says all you need to know.

“Donate to Geoff’s re-election campaign,” reads the clickable box that will take you to a page about how you can give the politician your money.

With this call for donations, it appears that Meggs is the first out of the box among his Vision caucus colleagues.

He'll need it to slide into a nice retirement nest egg when he gets his arrogant butt soundly defeated this November.

Agreed...could you imagine what Mayor Happy Planet would do if his puppeteer didn't get re-elected?

The campaign train has left the station!

I'd like to know if anyone in Vision supports mandatory licensing of bicycles, scooters and other non-motor vehicle forms of commuter transportation. (Just let the kids under 12 ride free!)
