Blim community market brings arts and crafts to the Heritage Hall

The first monthly community market of 2011 from Vancouver-based craft facility Blim is happening this Sunday (February 27) from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Heritage Hall (3102 Main Street).

Blim is an independent, family-run, community-based arts and crafts centre housed in Chinatown. Since 2003, Blim has welcomed professional artists, creative neophytes, and everyone in between into their studio space, and has provided workshops, screenings, and other events to the community.

The monthly community market takes place on the last Sunday of each month. The market brings together different types of vendors such as fashion, accessories, fine art, vintage items, crafts, and food, as well as live music and entertainment. This month's market will feature 48 vendors including Sassy Vintage, Ripe Soaps, Tiny FigTwig Prints, Farmers Daughter, Leigh Burrows Vintage, and Delainy Gluten Free Baked Goods.
