Videos: Contortionists turn themselves into human pretzels at Positive Living B.C. fundraiser
Last night at a 25th anniversary gala celebration of Positive Living B.C. (formerly B.C. Persons With AIDS Society), talented young acrobats reminded people of what the human body can accomplish.
They are with Westcoast Contortion & Acrobatics, which was founded by choreographer Anne Lawton in 1981.
Two of the performers managed to turn themselves into human pretzels, much to the delight of those attending a cocktail party before a big fundraising dinner at the Terminal City Club in downtown Vancouver.
We don't advise doing any of these moves at home without spotters and a coach.
