Forget hunting for Easter eggs. There are two fashion and arts markets happening on Sunday (April 24) for fashionistas who truly live for the hunt.

The Blim Monthly Community Market will be taking place at the Heritage Hall (3102 Main Street) from noon to 5 p.m., and this month's market will feature 48 vendors spanning fashion, accessories, vintage items, food, fine art, and crafts. Comb through racks of retro clothes at Sassy Vintage and Anne Banner Vintage. Sample the edible offerings at Delainy Gluten Free Baked Goods and Brian Robinson Fine Foods. Pick up something for the fashionable tot in your life at Squid Kids, and then head over to Ripe Soap for an early Mother's Day gift. The market will also include hot food and drinks, as well as live entertainment.

Inspired by the famous Portobello market in London, Vancouver's own Portobello West market will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Creekside Community Recreation Centre (1 Athletes Way). This month, find frilly and feminine womenswear at Creampuff by GG, sniff through handcrafted perfumes by Ayala Moriel, try on earthy jewels by Irit Sorokin Designs, and scope out prints by local illustrator Leah Schell. Just because it's Easter, scoop up dark chocolate bunnies with toffee bits and sea salt by Kitsilano chocolatier Coco Nymph. Admission to Portobello West is $2 and free for children under 12.

So what are you waiting for? Hop to it!
