New Lil Wayne video (featuring Rick Ross): "John (If I Die Today)"

Apparently Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. has reached a point in his life where he's concerned about his legacy. Or at least that's the impression he gives in this song. In the chorus, he says "If I die today remember me like John Lennon."

Not likely. Lennon was a much better guitar player. I kid! (But not really.) In any case, that lyric was actually written by Rick Ross. Speaking of whom, why is he in a wheelchair?

"John (If I Die Today)" will be featured on Weezy's forthcoming album Tha Carter IV, which was originally slated for release next month but will instead come out in June. Maybe.

In the meantime, Lil Wayne will be in Vancouver on April 27 for a concert that also features Ross, the ubiquitous Nicki Minaj, Travis Barker, Mixmaster Mike, and Drake.

Just kidding. Drake won't actually be there. And, if we're lucky, neither will Lil Wayne's guitar.

By the way, if that new Lil Wayne song sounds a bit familiar, there's a good reason for that. See below.

Rap takes no musical ability at all. I admit that only a very small percentage of the worlds population has an IQ as low as these 2 fools, but maybe that's what makes them "special".
