Richard Simmons lightens up in-flight safety video

I watched this video for the first time several weeks ago and it still makes me smile. If you’re one of those people who ignore the airline safety video before the flight, this will certainly get your attention. Air New Zealand commissioned Richard Simmons to perform its safety briefing, and he does it with pure ’80s panache.

The “Fit to Fly” safety video has been running onboard Air New Zealand’s narrowbody aircraft fleets since the end of March, and will show on the airline’s widebody aircraft from May 1.
