NDP's Vancouver election night HQ the “place to be” for Tim Louis

Nobody from Vancouver’s NDP candidates has shown up at Heritage Hall yet, but according to former Vancouver city councillor Tim Louis “this is the place to be”.

The former COPE councillor is already front and centre at the stage, and media are on their way in as polls officially come to a close in B.C.

Spirits in the NDP camp should be good, according to Louis, who predicted a Conservative minority but one that may offer a glimmer of hope for a Liberal-NDP coalition. Louis said he lives in Vancouver Quadra, where the NDP candidate is in a tough two-woman race between a Liberal incumbent and Conservative challenger.

As for Vancouver Kingsway’s NDP incumbent, Louis was unequivocal, “Don Davies is the best MP in British Columbia.”

Stay tuned for more from Vancouver NDP HQ, where the murmur has already turned into a quiet buzz as folk await results.
