Osama bin Laden, SkyTrain stations, and suspicious packages
1 of 1 2 of 1
Today, U.S. attorney general Eric Holder described the killing of Osama bin Laden as a "lawful act of war".
Meanwhile, a suspicious package was found near the Joyce Street SkyTrain station in East Vancouver, shutting down service.
There's no indication that these events are linked.
But I have a hunch that mentioning the name Osama bin Laden next to the words "suspicious packages" and "SkyTrain station" may increase the public appetite for more transit cops.

Nothing could increase my appetite for transit cops.
