Lady Gaga to invade FarmVille

One of the most popular games on Facebook is going Gaga.

Zynga announced today (May 10) that FarmVille will be home to a special Lady Gaga farm from May 17 to 26.

GagaVille will feature “colorful crystals, magical unicorns, sheep on motorcycles”, as well as give visitors the chance to complete quests in order to hear songs from Lady Gaga’s Born This Way album before it drops on May 23.

“I want to celebrate and share ”˜Born This Way’ with my little monsters in a special way that’s never been done before,” Lady Gaga said in a news release. “Zynga has created a magical place in FarmVille where my fans can come play, and be the first to listen to the album.”

Among other promotions, Zynga’s mobile game Words With Friends will carry a Words With Gaga contest, which will offer prizes in the U.S. only.

Until GagaVille debuts, Gaga fans can listen to “The Edge of Glory”, one of the tracks on the new album.
