A sure sign that the Vancouver Folk Music Festival is coming to a beach near you

      I headed down to Jericho Beach today to check out Paddlefest. But I couldn't ignore the preparations for the 34th annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival, which runs next weekend (July 15 to 17).

      One stage is already up. By next Friday, there will be six more.

      This year's lineup includes Rosanne Cash, Tim Robbins & The Rogues Gallery Band, and Gillian Welch.
